The Girls Cross Country team was crowned the South Bend City Champions on Tuesday night at the South Bend City Meet. Adams won the meet with a final team score of 26. It was a total team effort for the Lady Eagles. The team competed well and a great pack of runners allowed Adams to soar to the victory Agnes Hasler was the race runner up, crossing the finish line in 20:50.1 Five more runners finished in the Top 10. Gretchen Rea finished in 4th, Violet Connolly in 5th, Scarlet Connolly in 7th, Lelianna DeSelm in 8th, and Zahra Stackowicz in 9th place.
