The Football team had a great game on Friday night when the Eagles took on Mishawaka Marian in the opening game of Northern Indiana Conference play. The Eagles shut the Knights out with a 41-0 victory. It was an interesting start to scoring in the game. Adams first points came from a field goal from Carlos Cubillo and then two Safeys in a row. From there, Adams would go on to score five more touchdowns, including an explosive third quarter where the Eagles put up 20 points on the scoreboard. Cayden Keen threw for 89 yards and 1 passing touchdown and rushed for 92 yards scoring an additional touchdown. Carson Bryce had 29 carries good for 162 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jarvis Suarel Banner ran for 43 yards and a touchdown and Jeffrey Seitz had 4 receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown. Leighton Prezbindowski had 6 tackles on defense which held the Knights to just 44 total yards. Harrison Cooper had a big night with 4 interceptions The Eagles improve to 2-1 overall for the year and 1-0 in the NIC.
